PC/104 is an industry standard which defines a mechanical
and electrical specification for rugged small form-factor
computer systems. Boards follow a 3.6” x 3.8” size and
connect together using a stack-together bus arrangement.
Simply mix and match processor and peripheral hardware to
meet your requirements. Advantages include accelerated
time-to-market, lower development costs, design flexibility,
multi-vendor support and the ability to use standard PC
software. These important attributes have made PC/104 the
ideal choice for demanding applications including Industrial
Control, Military, Medical, and Aerospace.

Interfacing embedded computers to real-world devices is easy
with our XIO series boards. Mix-and-match among functions to
meet your application, such as high-current relay outputs or
AC/DC inputs. The boards connect to your computers digital I/O
ports through standard IDC ribbon cable. Multiple XIO boards can
be daisy-chained together to create special I/O arrangements
such as high-count multi-pole relays. Standard features include
detachable screw-terminals for convenient wiring to field
devices, and built-in status LED's which clearly show each
boards operation. All XIO series boards are designed to mount in
3" SNAPTRACK, using stand-offs, or on a DIN Rail.
